Twin Valley eyes deep playoff run
WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley Wildcats punched their ticket to the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs with a convincing 75-39 win over Mid Vermont Christian School on Tuesday. The win marked the sixth consecutive year the Wildcats have won their first-round playoff opener.
MVC’s Daniel Roberts scored the first basket of the game, which turned out to be the only lead for the Eagles. Twin Valley reeled off an 11-4 run through the rest of the quarter to take an 11-6 lead after one. Owen Grinold had seven of Twin Valley’s points in the period.
