BRATLEBORO- The top young students from the New England Center for Circus Arts’ Youth Troupe will perform two shows on Sunday, May 19, at 12 pm and 4 pm.
“CircusNEXT: We Will Rock You!” is inspired by Queen and channels the excitement of one of the most iconic bands in history through high flying circus acts. Students will showcase work they have developed in this end-of-year production in a variety of specialties including trapeze, trampoline, Chinese pole, cloud swing, juggling, dance, and more.
Several troupe members are also performers with Circus Smirkus, and graduates have gone on to professional careers with companies such as Cirque du Soleil, 7 Fingers, and Cirque US.
At NECCA there is a deep belief in the transformational opportunities of circus. Coaches aim to teach body, heart, and mind to support the development of individuals while instilling effective learning habits for fitness and life, and consider joy and community as essential priorities along the way.
The Youth Performance Program is available for those students who aspire to train to a higher level in order to improve their abilities and to perform.
Tickets are $25, $15 or $10. For tickets and more information visit www.necenterforcircusarts.org or call (802) 254-9780.  BRATLEBORO- The top young students from the New England Center for Circus Arts’ Youth Troupe will perform two shows on Sunday, May 19, at 12 pm and 4 pm.
