Reading “Love in Space-Time”

PUTNEY- Gia Forakis and Company will be hosted by Next Stage Arts, 15 Kimball Hill, on Tuesday,  August 14, for a staged reading of their work-in-progress “Love In Space-Time” an experimental, non-linear performance project that aims to create an experience of space-time (also known as the fourth dimension or the time continuum).
The narrative traces a woman’s passage through the love and loss of two men – her father and her lover – suggesting that it is  during experiences of love and grief that a doorway into the fourth dimension opens up for us, if we care to walk through it.
Scenes overlap, repeat, layer upon one another, and time and space are fluid. “Love in Space-Time” is a journey of hope, humor, catharsis, and transcendence. It is a story about what lies on the other side of grief.
The staged reading runs from 7 to 8:30 pm, and talk-back from 8:30 to 9 pm.  Runtime is 90 minutes without intermission.
Tickets are $10 suggested donation.  For more information call (802) 387-0102 or visit www.nextstagearts.org.
