A fresh take on a classic

WESTON- Weston Playhouse Theatre Company presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!” from July 18 to August 10. The show will run Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 pm, Wednesday and Saturday at 2 pm, and Sunday at 3 pm.
The play takes place on a beautiful morning in 1906 with a group of intrepid pioneers who are setting out to forge a new community and young women and men are setting out to chart their futures.
Reginald L. Douglas is the director of the play. Members of the “Oklahoma!” creative team new to the Weston stage are choreographer David Scotchford, lighting designer Jorge Arroyo, and sound designer Julian Evans.  
Adult tickets range from $45 to $69. Discounts are available for students. Prices do not include taxes or fees. Subscriptions and single tickets are available online and by calling the Weston Box Office at (802) 824-5288. Gift certificates can be purchased online at westonplayhouse.org.
