Brown Bag Lunch series continues
BRATTLEBORO- Strolling of the Heifers has announced the schedule for its Brown Bag Lunch series. All Brown Bag Lunch events take place from noon to 1 pm at the Robert H. Gibson River Garden, 157 Main Street, and are free and open to the public.
Monday, December 3: Forcing Bulbs with Cheryl Wilfong. Master gardener Wilfong demonstrates how to force narcissus for Christmas, hyacinths for February, and tulips for April. Participants will take home bulbs.
Tuesday, December 4: Sukyo Mahikari, 10 Minutes of Light. At this stressful time of year, come in and spend 10 minutes with Susan Hebson to de-stress using Sukyo Mahikari, the art of true light. Refine the spirit, and the mind and body will follow.
Wednesday, December 5, and Thursday, December 6: What is Baha’i? If you’ve never heard of Baha’i, check this out now, since it will be around for a long time. Or perhaps you have an inkling of it, but want to know more.
Friday, December 7: Positivity Magic with Jonas Cain. When things don’t go as planned, do you get frustrated? Or do you get fascinated? In a Positivity Magic presentation entitled “The Hero’s Journey to Happiness,” facilitator of fascination Jonas Cain shares engaging comedy magic, empowering positivity principles, and encouraging daily practices for achieving the next level of enjoyment and excellence at work, home, and beyond.
