WILMINGTON- The glamour and sophistication of Broadway return to the Deerfield Valley August 1 through 3 in Memorial Hall with the production of “Cabaret,” one of the edgiest and most acclaimed musicals of the 20th century. The production will replicate a 1929 Berlin nightclub, complete with a special area for audience members who would like to be part of the show. For this production of “Cabaret,” six tables will be set up on the floor below the stage, for those who want to play the part of nightclub patrons and enjoy a more intimate interaction with the cast. In addition, all theatergoers are encouraged to dress in 1920s-style clothing.
“Cabaret” offers traditional theater seating. Pricing is uniform for all regular seats, $15 each. The “cabaret patron option” is $30 per seat, $120 for a table of four, and includes a glass of wine or other beverage for each guest.
“Cabaret” is recommended for ages above 14.  Performances will be staged on Thursday, August 1, Friday, August 2, and Saturday, August 3, at 8 pm.
