Wildcats survive Rebels in playdown, Brown surpasses 1,000

WHITINGHAM-  Wednesday’s playdown round matchup between Leland & Gray and Twin Valley was a much different affair than Friday’s regular season finale.  Twin Valley was missing its top scorer, Brayden Brown, due to illness.  Brown had just eclipsed the 1,000-point scoring mark in Friday’s Wildcat win at Leland & Gray.  Despite missing Brown and his 29-points-per-game average, Twin Valley pulled away from a determined Rebels team to win 54-39.
