Wildcats showing improvement

WHITINGHAM- Wins are proving to be elusive for the young Twin Valley girls’ varsity basketball team.  The squad rolls with one junior, three sophomores, and five eighth grade players. But veteran coach James Anderson knows it will take some time for the young team to develop.
On Tuesday, the Wildcats lost to visiting Long Trail School, 48-9, but the progress made by the team as the season has progressed was noticeable.
“There’s been improvement,” said Anderson.  “There’s a lot of it there. Six minutes into it we were in the game.”
