Wildcats show up against Phantoms

Twin Valley’s Katelyn Gatti makes a play at third base in a game earlier this season. RC

WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley varsity softball team played the top-ranked Division 4 team in the state on Saturday. While the host Wildcats may have had an upset on their minds, Proctor played like a number one team and the visiting Phantoms came away with a 25-7 win in five innings.
Proctor wasted little time, as they jumped on the Wildcats for 14 runs in the top of the first inning. They followed that up with three in the second, seven in the fourth, and one in the fifth.
