Wildcats ride hot starts to big wins

WEST RUTLAND- One of the Twin Valley boys’ basketball team’s goals is to get off to a quick start in games.  They worked that to perfection on Friday evening, jumping out to an early lead and then building on that to cruise to a 65-39 win over the host Golden Horde.
Izaak Park and Jack McHale got the Wildcats going out of the gate, as each hit a three-point shot early in the game.  Dylan Dupuis added a  pair of shots, and Twin Valley led 10-2 at the end of the first.
Twin Valley coach Chris Brown said getting off to a good start is something he continually emphasizes.
