Wildcats open season with two wins over Terriers

BELLOWS FALLS- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity opened the soccer season on road at Bellows Falls Friday afternoon.  Despite concerns heading into the season about who and how the team would make up for a loss of scoring punch for 2020, the Wildcats had no problem finding the back of the nets. The Warriors rode a second-half scoring outburst to beat the host Terriers 9-1.
“It was really good opener for the team, considering the numbers,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. “We had three eighth-graders in the mix, it was a good place to get their feet wet.”
