Wildcats misfire and suffer first loss

WILMINGTON- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity soccer team broke open a tight, physical match Thursday evening, September 12, against Stratton Mountain School, using three second-half goals and a stifling defense to cruise to a 5-0 win over the visiting Bears.
“I thought it was a good win,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. “They’ve got plenty of talent, and plenty of strength. But we played really, really, well. Anytime you can shut out Stratton it’s always a good win.”
