Wildcats lose season finale in overtime, hold on to top seed in playoffs

WILMINGTON- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity wrapped up the soccer regular season  by hosting Randolph Union High School Friday evening at Hayford Field.   While the air temperatures were cool, the action on the field was hot as the host Wildcats and visiting Galloping Ghosts played into overtime before the Ghosts scored a late goal and pulled out the 3-2 win.
“The game was high energy on both sides,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. “Playoff intensity  plus.”
