Wildcats knock off top D4 team, rout visitors at home
WEST RUTLAND- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity basketball team played its best game of the season on Thursday, January 17, as they knocked off the top-ranked West Rutland Golden Horde, 54-37.
“West Rutland was 7-1 and ranked number one in D4,” said Brown. “They were really frustrated during the game.”
Twin Valley used a stifling defense to blanket the Horde. They raced out to a big lead in the first quarter, holding the hosts to eight points while scoring 22.
