Wildcats headed to the title game, looking for valley’s first boys’ championship

BARRE- The top-seeded Twin Valley Wildcats are heading to the boys division 4 basketball state championship game on Saturday. They earned the chance to play for the title with a hard-fought 59-48 win over the No. 4 Danville Indians Monday evening at the Barre Auditorium. The Wildcats shook off a rough first quarter and used big runs in the second and fourth quarters to come away with the win.
“I’m beyond proud of the boys for the way they responded after a slow start,” said Twin Valley coach Chris Brown. “They kept their composure, and came back and made some plays.”
