Wildcats have up and down week
CHESTER- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity basketball team was a little shorthanded and a little off their game for the opener of the Green Mountain holiday tournament Tuesday evening. Those two factors played a big role in the Wildcats coming up short against host Green Mountain, 47-38.
“Last night wasn’t our best game,” said Twin Valley coach Chris Brown. “I think we’re capable of playing better. Jack McHale was sick and couldn’t play. Not having him put us behind the eight-ball a little bit, he’s one of our top scorers. We just didn’t muster enough offensively.”
