Wildcats fall short in title match

CASTLETON- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity dream season turned into a nightmare Wednesday evening, as the top-seeded, undefeated Wildcats dropped a difficult 1-0 championship game to their nemesis, the Stowe Raiders.  The win was Stowe’s seventh straight division 3 state championship and the fourth consecutive season they have bounced Twin Valley from the tournament, including the 2015 championship match.
The game was physical from the opening whistle, as both teams attempted to impose their will on the other.
