NORTH CLARENDON- The Twin Valley varsity baseball team headed to Mill River High School Monday afternoon, as part of a softball/baseball double header. It turned out to be a rough day for both squads, as the host Minutemen rolled to a 20-1 mercy-rule-shortened win.
Halen Ranslow got the start on the mound for Twin Valley and, although he threw well, the Wildcats had some problems fielding the ball.
“He has six Ks but four were dropped third strikes and all four reached safely,” said Twin Valley coach Greg Nido. “We committed about 13 errors.”
