THETFORD- The Twin Valley varsity softball team headed up I-91 on Thursday, May 13, hoping to get the elusive first win of the season.  Unfortunately for the Wildcats, the trip wasn’t the lucky one, as they lost 26-14 to a combined team from Thetford and Rivendell.
As in their previous game at Bellows Falls, the Wildcats started fast. After a scoreless first inning, Twin Valley erupted for nine runs in the top of the second inning. Lillian Barber, Hailey Tine, Jazmyn Dix, and Sadie Boyd all had big hits during the rally.
