Wildcats come back for big win

WILMINGTON- Twin Valley and Poultney were scheduled to play a make-up game on the last day of the regular season, Saturday, May 30. But heavy rains forced its cancellation. As it turned out, the Wildcats and Blue Devils only had to wait three days to play each other, as they met Tuesday afternoon in the playdown round of the  Vermont Principals’ Association D4 state baseball tournament.  Twin Valley capitalized on some late-inning scoring to take the 12-7 win and move on to the second round of the Vermont Principals’ Association D4 playoffs.
