Wildcats claw Raptors, head to tournament

WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity basketball team wrapped up the number one seed in the Vermont division 4 tournament with a 52-46 win over Rivendell Friday evening, February 21.
It was a playoff atmosphere, with the bleachers packed with fans for both schools. Rivendell came in with an 18-1 record and a chance to lock up the the D4 top seed. The Raptors had beaten the Wildcats 45-29 earlier this season at Rivendell. The Wildcats were ranked second, and needed a win to force a tiebreaker for the top spot in the tournament.
