Wildcats claw back from tough loss, beat Lions

DORSET- The Twin Valley girls’ varsity basketball team got back to its winning ways Monday evening with a solid 48-25 win at the Long Trail School. The Wildcats used strong defense to hold down the host Mountain Lions’ top scoring threat and come away with the victory.
“We spoiled their senior night, I’m sad to say,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. “The kids played really well.”
The Wildcats focused on shutting down Long Trail’s ace, Molly Sanderson. The Wildcats’ defense held her to 12 points, which pleased Hayford.
