Wildcats chuck Bucks in playoff win

WILMINGTON- The Twin Valley girls’ varsity played 80 quality minutes of soccer Wednesday afternoon at Hayford Field.  For the effort, the team was rewarded with a 2-0 first-round playoff victory over visiting Blue Mountain.
The game was low scoring, in large part due to Blue Mountain’s defensive strategy.  The Bucks packed their backfield with six or seven players, anchored by their senior sweeper, Mika White, and senior goalkeeper, Libby Bogie. While the defense kept Twin Valley at bay for much of the game, the visitors hoped to break away for a counterattack.
