WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley girls varsity bounced back from a pair of losses last week with a 32-29 win over visiting Arlington Monday evening. It was an up-and-down game for the host Wildcats, as twice they ran out to solid leads, only to see the Eagles close the gap. In the end, the host team had just enough scoring and defense to ride out the win.
“You’ve got to credit the kids,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. “They had enough to hang on. It was one of those nights, but they got the job done.”
