Wildcats’ defense shuts down Eagles

ARLINGTON- Twin Valley coach Chris Brown has been saying all season he wants the Wildcats to use their pressure defense as a building block to trigger their offense. That concept was readily apparent Saturday afternoon, as the Wildcats used a stifling defense to convert easy baskets and make quick work of the host Arlington Eagles. They built a big first-quarter lead and cruised to a 70-37 win.
“I thought we played awesome,” said Brown.  “They came with the killer instinct right out of the gate. Defensively they were locked in, contesting every shot.”
