Wildcat girls knocked out in title game
ARLINGTON- The Twin Valley girls’ varsity soccer team played the Arlington Eagles close for more than a half Friday evening. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, the Eagles found their mojo in the second half and pulled away for a 5-0 win in the title game of the John Werner Soccer Tournament.
“The girls played a strong first half,” said Twin Valley coach Robert Bolognani, “and held the defending champs in check.”
Arlington won the Werner tournament a year ago, as well as the Vermont Division 4 state title.
