Walk, run to benefit cancer battle

BENNINGTON-  There’s a new race in town, the Mount Anthony 5K Challenge, presented by RiseVT of Bennington County, starts at 10 am on Saturday, June 1, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. It is a part of the Cancer Center Community Crusaders sixth annual Day of Celebration and National Cancer Survivors Day, from 11 am to 4 pm on the same date.
Participants will enjoy the course as it meanders the beautiful trails of Mount Anthony. It is open to runners and walkers.  The registration fee is $30. Visit www.raceentry.com/mount-anthony-5k-challenge to register online.
