MANCHESTER- The Vermont Division 4 state track championships were held Friday, June 4, at the track at Knapp Field in Dana Thompson Park. A number of local athletes competed in the event, and the fast new track and warm, sunny weather resulted in some solid performances. 
“The environment they were in, the state championship meet, meant all the best were there,” said Twin Valley Middle High School coach Buddy Hayford. “That really brought out the best in our boys.”
