Twin Valley takes home a trophy, loses thriller
CHESTER- Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford said Tuesday’s match at Green Mountain would be a good test for the Wildcats. While the team gets a passing grade for effort, they ran out of time before completing the final exam, as Green Mountain pulled out a double-overtime 2-1 win.
“It was a battle of two titans,” said Hayford after the match. “Two of the better teams in the league.”
Carson McHale scored for Twin Valley in the first half off a long-throw-in in from Steven Oyer.
