Twin Valley stays close, can’t close

WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley girls’ basketball team was oh-so-close to their first win of the season Monday evening.  They were within four points of the visiting Proctor Phantoms midway through the fourth quarter but couldn’t close the gap, and the Wildcats fell 38-28.
“We lost but it was a good game, went down to the buzzer,” said Twin Valley coach James Anderson. “Best game we played all year.”
