Twin Valley softball heading home
TOWNSHEND- Twin Valley and Leland & Gray met for the first time this softball season on Wednesday, May 1. Given that it was International Labor Day, the host Rebels worked over the Wildcats for a 26-7 win.
The game was a rough one for Twin Valley’s starting pitcher, Sarah Dix.
“The fifth inning killed us,” said Twin Valley coach Fran Cunningham. “Sarah had a pretty strong pitching game prior to that inning. Sarah’s arm was beat. Had to bring in Alizabeth Weinberg for relief pitching.”
