WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley varsity softball team played its best game of the season Monday afternoon, and for their efforts the Wildcats were rewarded with a 26-22 win over visiting Thetford.
“They played as a team,” said Twin Valley coach Joni Sullivan. “It was amazing. They had fun, it was a good game all around.”
The Wildcats had a strong first inning. They used a double play to get out of the top of the first, then scored a pair of runs in the bottom to take an early lead. Jayden Crawford and Alissa Bird both scored for Twin Valley.
