Twin Valley varsity guard Brayden Brown gets airborne while attempting a shot during Wednesday’s home game with Springfield. Brown, a sophomore, is about to accomplish the rare feat of scoring 1,000 points. He currently has 990 points and is averaging close to 30 per game. Brown will likely pass the coveted milestone on Friday at Leland & Gray. If he does, he will be the first Twin Valley player to score 1,000 or more in a varsity career in 11 years. Brown’s mother, Jamie (Rosso) Brown, also accomplished the feat 25 years ago this week. Photo by Randy Capitani
