Twin Valley looks to bounce back

NORTH CLARENDON- The Twin Valley girls’ varsity softball team had a week off during the recent April spring break.  That led to a rough restart to the season Monday afternoon, as they were one-hit by host Mill River in a 16-0 loss.
“We got to have one practice last week,” said Twin Valley coach Fran Cunningham, “with just over half of the girls there. Too many vacationers.”
Sarah Dix was in the circle for the Wildcats. The hosts nicked her for four runs in the first inning,, three in the second, four in the third, and five in the fourth.
