Twin Valley heads to title match after wins over Peoples, Green Mountain

WILMINGTON- The Twin Valley boys’ soccer team punched its ticket to a fifth state championship match in seven years Tuesday. The Wildcats blanked visiting Peoples Academy 3-0 in a Division 3 semifinal tilt.
“I’m really proud of the boys,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. “Very happy with how it turned out.”
Twin Valley played with intensity from the opening whistle, keeping the Peoples squad on its heels and playing defense for most of the match.
