Twin Valley girls win first game of the season, legendary coach Hayford honored
WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley girls’ varsity won their first game of the season Wednesday evening, beating Sharon Academy 35-22. It was the first win for a Wildcats varsity team since March 2021, and the first for coach James Anderson, who took over coaching from Twin Valley legend Buddy Hayford for the 2021-2022 season .
“It was a great game,” said Anderson. ‘It’s always good to get a win, especially that first win.”
