WHITINGHAM- The basketball preseason has gotten off to a slow start for the Twin Valley girls’ varsity team.  The snowstorms last week forced the cancellation of the first two practices, leaving the team precious few days to prepare for their first game of the season on Friday.
“The start to the season has been kind of rough,” said coach Buddy Hayford. “We lost two days because of the storm, and now they’re replacing lights in the gym so we’ve had to juggle practices around.”
