Twin Valley comes up short in overtime, loses 4-3 to Winooski
RUTLAND- For the second year in a row Twin Valley and Winooski met for the Vermont Principals’ Association Division 4 state soccer championship. Alas for the Wildcats, it was another heartbreaking loss as Winooski came from behind to pull out a 4-3 overtime win on the turf at Rutland High School. It was the Spartans’ third consecutive D4 title, including a 1-0 nail-biter over Twin Valley in 2023.
