WILMINGTON- The Leland & Gray Rebels invaded the Twin Valley soccer pitch Friday evening, hoping to avenge their season-opening loss to the Wildcats and knock Twin Valley out of the top spot in the Vermont division 4 boys’ varsity soccer standings.  When the dust had settled, it was the hosts who came away with a convincing 6-0 win that secured the top seed and a first-round bye in the state  tournament.
“We played well,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. “It was a spirited game, as it always is. It was also a clean game and both teams accounted well.”
