TV girls bow out in quarterfinals

HARDWICK- On Saturday the Twin Valley girls’ varsity soccer team continued the strong play that had seen them win three of their previous four games, including a first-round playoff upset a week ago. But the Wildcats couldn’t come all the way back after getting down early in the second half and lost their quarterfinal match with Hazen Union High School 3-2.
“Another long bus ride, but the girls were ready to go,” said Twin Valley coach Robert Bolognani. “We kind of got off to a slow start possessing the ball but our defense held strong.”
