Softball team drops three

WHITINGHAM- It was a difficult week for the Twin Valley softball team, as the Wildcats lost three games including a double header on Wednesday.
Green Mountain knocked off the Wildcats Friday afternoon in Whitingham 18-2. Green Mountain is the top-ranked team in division 3 and sports a sterling 8-1 record.
The team dropped a pair of games Wednesday in a rare high school double-header at Woodstock. The Wasps stung the Wildcats 24-8 in the first game and 13-2 in the second. The wins were the first of the season for Woodstock, and the losses dropped Twin Valley to 0-7 on the season.
Twin Valley returns to action on Friday, hosting Leland & Gray at 4:30 pm.
