Soccer playoff pairings announced

The Vermont Principals Association has set the playoff pairings for the 2018 state championship soccer tournaments. Pairings were announced this morning.

Both Twin Valley Middle High School varsity soccer teams will be in action.

The Twin Valley girls' varsity team (4-10) was seeded sixth in Division 4 and opens with a playdown round at home at Hayford Field. They will be taking on the 12th-seeded Blue Mountain Bucks (1-9-1) Wednesday afternoon at 3 pm.

The Twin Valley boys finished the season undefeated (14-0) and are the top seed in Division 3. They drew a first round bye and will take on the winner of the match between eighth-seeded Hazen (8-5-1) and ninth-seeded Green Mountain (8-5-1). That second-round match is scheduled for Friday at 3 pm at Hayford Field in Wilmington.
