Soccer camp celebrates 30th season
WILMINGTON- The Deerfield Valley Soccer Camp is celebrating its 30th iteration this summer, and founders Cindy and Buddy Hayford still exude the same passion for the camp and the sport as they did during their first camp in 1990.
Buddy is the athletic director and varsity boys’ soccer coach at Twin Valley Middle High School. Cindy runs the Deerfield Valley Community Partnership and was a physical education teacher after college. Both Hayfords have a passion for working with youth and teens that started more than three decades ago.
