Snow blankets southern Vermont ski areas

Picnic tables were buried at Mount Snow on Monday. During the storm, 23 inches fell at the Dover resort, more than any other ski area in Vermont. Courtesy VSAA

VERMONT- The state has had another fantastic start to the ski and ride season. The storm that hit the East Coast on Sunday evening into early Tuesday morning brought significant snowfall to Vermont’s southern ski areas. The northern areas received some of the storm’s bounty, coating the trees and trails in some light and fluffy pow. This storm sets Vermont up very nicely going into the holiday season.
Use Ski Vermont’s Mountain Finder and Lodging Finder to help decide where to ski and stay this holiday season.
