Rebels, Lions overpower Wildcats

WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley varsity softball team played a home-and-away series with Long Trail School this week. In both games, the Mountain Lions roared past the Wildcats.
On Monday at Long Trail, the Lions jumped out to an early lead and didn’t look back in a 23-6 win.
On Wednesday, torrential rain and wind made for a raw day and soggy field at Twin Valley. But again the Mountain Lions found their footing and clawed the Wildcats, 25-4.
