WHITINGHAM- Leland & Gray traveled to Twin Valley for a varsity softball game Monday afternoon.  The two teams played close for the first three innings, but the visiting Rebels pulled away late to snare a 30-8 win.
The Rebels took an early lead in the top of the first.  Sarah Andersen drew a lead-off walk from Twin Valley starter Hannah Sullivan, followed by a single from Ansley Henderson. Both runners moved up on steals, then came home on ground-outs. Sullivan struck out Hannah Landers to end the inning.
