Pink Friday helps in fight against cancer

Waterslide fun at Bromley Mountain.

PERU- On Friday, June 21, Bromley Mountain will hold its sixth annual Pink Friday. What this means: when the pink-wearing, adventure-park-loving crowd purchases an all-day Mountain Adventure Pass for $49 at the ticket window, Bromley will donate 50% of each MAP sold to benefit Susan G. Komen New England and the 2019 Komen Vermont More Than Pink Walk.
On Pink Friday, folks who don any article of pink clothing and purchase an all-day MAP, from 10:30 am to 5 pm, adults and kids alike, will have unlimited access to Bromley’s triple track Alpine Slide, Four Trampoline Things, climbing wall, 18-hole mini golf course, space bikes, Giant Swing, Big Splash Waterslide, Twin Spin, scenic chairlift rides, and Kidzone fun park.
Through events like Pink Friday, the Vermont More Than Pink Walk, Vermont Ride for the Cure (horseback), and snowshoe events, Komen New England was able to award over $66,000 for FY20 grants that address gaps in access to affordable, quality breast cancer care and provide access to screenings and treatment.
The rain date will be Friday, June 28. For more information about the event visit bromley.com. Find more information about Komen New England and the Vermont More Than Pink Walk at komennewengland.org/walk/vermont or call (802) 362-2733.
