Pathfinders ride-in barbecue Saturday

STRATTON- For over 20 years, the Wardsboro Pathfinders Snowmobile Club Rescue Ride-In Barbecue has a reputation for being one of the best barbecue fundraising events in southern Vermont.
The ride-in will be held from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, February 23. The event will be held at the Stratton Recreation Area, located four miles from Corridor 7, at junction WM 10.
For a $10 suggested donation, attendees can enjoy burgers, hot dogs, homemade pulled pork, chili, meatballs, macaroni and cheese, great desserts, and hot or cold beverages. There will be fantastic raffle prizes  such as gas cards, winter gear, restaurant certificates, even a snowmobile trail pass (TMA) for next season, and a 50/50 cash raffle.
Proceeds benefit Wardsboro Rescue and Rescue Inc. These are the fine folks who will come to the aid of those who get stuck out in the cold.  A portion of proceeds will also fund Pathfinders grooming equipment.
Snow or no, it’s still a go. Directions: By sled, go four miles down the 710 trail from Junction C7 (WM10) or, take the 710 from C7/100 (WM20) for 18 miles, if trail conditions permit. Trail status will be posted on our website. By car, take Route 100 to Stratton-Arlington Road in West Wardsboro; turn right on West Jamaica Road for 3/4 mile. The recreation area will be on the left.
