MacFadyen, Boyd ride to medals at state finals

LUDLOW- Despite some fits and starts, and with a looming shutdown of sporting events across the state and country on the horizon, the Vermont High School Snowboard Series state championships were held at Okemo Mountain on Wednesday, March 11.
A number of local riders competed, and two of them came home with some heavy metal.  Dover rider Griffin MacFadyen, riding for Burr & Burton Academy, took combined overall honors as the top individual rider. He won the halfpipe, finished fourth in the giant slalom, and second in slopestyle.
