Local high schools facing a variety of challenges for winter sports

SOUTHERN VERMONT- Area high school athletic directors and administrators are trying to find ways to give students a chance to participate in sports this winter while following the state of Vermont’s coronavirus guidelines.
“We’re still in a holding pattern,” Bob Johnson, associate executive director of the Vermont Principals’ Association, said on Tuesday. “We’re waiting for the governor to give us permission to go. Once we get that permission, we’re ready to go.”
